Nika

Music has always been Nika’s muse, guiding her creativity and personal growth. In 1974, she received a scholarship to the Paris Conservatory of Music—a transformative experience that introduced her to new cultures, mentors, and a broader artistic worldview. When she returned to Los Angeles, she brought with her a deepened musical understanding and a global sensibility.

As a professional cellist, Nika has performed with luminaries such as Placido Domingo, Pavarotti, Frank Sinatra, Elton John, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Her orchestral work includes collaborations with the Los Angeles and European symphonies, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and Bolshoi Ballet. She’s contributed to hundreds of film scores since 1979 and has played in Broadway productions from “West Side Story” to “Sweeney Todd.”

Nika’s artistic passion extends beyond music to the visual arts and dance. She views fashion as another channel for creative expression.

About Style

Nika describes her style as “artsy with a touch of class.” Her wardrobe balances the formal needs of her profession with casual, expressive pieces. She leans toward solid colors—especially black for its elegance and versatility.

She often pairs leggings with mid-length jackets and accessorizes with artistic jewelry, including statement earrings, necklaces, and rings. Her long hair is streaked with blond and ginger tones. Nika’s makeup palette complements her outfits, and she shops at TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, local boutiques, and street fairs.

Music has been Nika’s muse, opening doors of creativity in all aspects of her life. A professional cellist, Nika has concertized and recorded with artists like Placido Domingo, Pavarotti, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Metallica.
