Gail

A native of New York City who grew up on Long Island, Gail raised her family in New Jersey. She and her husband moved to California to join their two daughters and their families, arriving just weeks before the Covid pandemic hit, which made adapting to a new lifestyle challenging during a time of social distancing and isolation.

Formerly a speech-language pathologist, Gail worked with children and adults in schools and privately, creating innovative techniques to stimulate creativity in the learning disabled. She also loved teaching English as a second language at a community college, connecting with international students.

Music has always been her passion. For 30 years, she sang with the New Jersey Choral Society, traveling with them throughout Europe. Living in Italy during the early years of her marriage, she learned Italian and developed a great love for the country.

Gail and her husband enjoy theater, concerts, and art. As she grows older, she realizes the importance of continuing to learn, developing new hobbies, cultivating friendships, and seizing every moment.

About Style

Gail’s style brings an East Coast sensibility to her new Los Angeles life. She blends sophistication with ease, her appearance refined but never fussy. Think silk blouses in soft neutrals, tailored trousers that drape just right, or a cashmere wrap casually tossed over her shoulders. Her palette is understated—creams, soft grays, with the occasional muted olive or dusty rose.

Accessories are minimal but intentional: a delicate gold chain or dainty earrings, and shoes that are both beautiful and walkable—low block heels, supple loafers, or sleek ankle boots. Her hair falls in soft, sleek waves, often loosely styled, and her makeup is natural and glowing—enhancing rather than hiding.
