Suzette

Suzette sees herself as a true survivor, world traveler, and art devotee, still enjoying life at 67. “I have patched a roof in a rainstorm, escaped kidnappers, survived cancer, and fallen in love several times,” she notes.

She grew up in a Southern California surfing town with high waves and rocking music. After marrying the cousin of a third-world dictator, she diplomatically escaped seven years later. Returning to the U.S., she pursued her love of theater and music while running a real estate business, including renovating Victorian mansions.

Suzette faced challenges during the recession but bounced back with her sense of humor intact. She loves cooking, traveling, gardening, sharing, and growing. She continues to explore the world filled with wonderful things and interesting people.

About Style

Suzette likes to wear professional looking but comfortable clothes for every day since she is still working. If it’s a special occasion, she enjoys dressing up….but, oh, she can only last about 4 hours in those high heels. Print blouses and tees are high on her list but she prefers to wear solid colors for pants or skirts. A natural redhead, she colors her hair ginger, but says when her hair turns completely grey she’ll gracefully let it go. She loves to shop at high-end thrift stores to find good quality, previously owned, and even brand new garments at a great price.
